“Oden or Durant?” “Durant or Oden?” That’s all we heard leading up to the 2007 NBA Draft, and the Portland Trailblazers had the honor of making the difficult decision. So, with the #1 pick, they select Greg Oden. Let’s see how this has played out so far: Durant is the reigning three time NBA scoring champion and a three time all-star. Oden has played 82 games in his entire career so far, effectively playing one full NBA season over the span of five seasons (2007–2012). In May 2012, Oden announced his intention to sit out the 2012-13 season to focus on rehabbing his injuries. So, who would you have chosen with the #1 pick?

The Portland Trailblazers (yes, again) selected Sam Bowie with the #2 pick in the 1984 NBA Draft over…MICHAEL JORDAN! What?! It doesn’t matter what Bowie did in his career, or how much success he had, this will always be the biggest bust of any NBA Draft, simply because of who MJ was.
