Banana slugs are also hermaphrodites, and they have large penises. In fact, their latin name dolichyphallus translates to “giant penis.” The average size of a banana slug penis is 6 to 8 inches. This is incredibly impressive, considering their entire body length is 6 to 8 inches as well. Both slugs will try to fertilize eachother. Slugs have to be very careful to only mate with other slugs of the same size. If they miscalculate, then they can risk its penis getting stuck during sex. If this happens, then the other slug will actually bite off the stuck penis!

Barnacles are crustaceans that stick to the bottom of the ocean. They are stuck in one locarion for the duration of their lives. So, how do they mate? The solution, turns out, is brilliantly simple: the barnacle has an inflatable penis that is up to 50 times as long as its body. In fact, it has the longest penis in the animal kingdom, relative to body length.

The Argentine Duck is small, but the male species has the longest penis of any bird in the world. When stretched out, its penis measures about 17 inches. The tip of the penis is soft and brush-like, which the drake uses to brush away sperms deposited by a previous suitor. The ducks are very promiscuous. If the female duck tries to run away, the male will use its penis as a lasso to reel her back in.
