Although the Heat made it to the NBA Finals last year and had the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, they struggled with team chemistry. Three superstars who were used to being the focal points on their respective teams encountered problems with how to play with eachother. No one wanted to step on ayone’s toes. They were timid and there was no defined leader. An unselfish Dwyane Wade (who was the leader of the Heat for the previous seven years), decided to give up the leadership reigns to LeBron. He told him, “look, this is your team. Lead us.” LeBron embraced the role well, leading the Heat in all major statistical categories.
